Driving directions: Take Hwy 275 to the Skyway Bridge as if you are going over Tampa Bay. The North Pier exit is on the Pinellas County or St. Petersburg side of the bay. The South Pier exit is on the Manatee County or Palmeto/Bradenton side of the bay. Hwy 275 is a toll bridge, you will have to pay a $1 toll or use your Sunpass to enter the Skyway Bridge. Once you pay your toll for the bridge you can go from pier to the other without paying the state bridge toll again. At both pier exits there is a beautiful public rest area with restrooms and bayfront picnic grounds.
